palawan vacation: new year 2008

Raindrops keep falling on our heads as we welcomed 2008 by grilling some fish & chicken at ate lydz backyard. Some prepared salads, puto, spag and a lot more. Luckily the fish & chicken were cooked inspite of the weather

Neil was braved enough to light some firecrackers or juda’s belt?

As the clock striked at 12am the rain poured heavily. But still we were able to manage and enjoy the new year

After enjoying the fireworks we hopped to Varona’s residence for more foods

palawan vacation: pah year end party

As new year approaches, companies, institutions or organizations were busy preparing for their christmas or year end party. As well as the Palawan Adventist Hospital which was held on dec 23 2007, pah tennis court as usual :P.

Not only workers were excited on the said date but also their children who were enjoying the games led by neil.

palawan vacation: tennis club awarding

As I can recall they have this yearly tennis club tournament and luckily I was able to witness their awarding. It was held at Palawan Adventist Hospital tennis court on dec 22(saturday), 7pm. Lots of prices awaits not only the winner but also the particpants, and the pulot boy/girl.

Sacks of rice are their prices. It depends on what price u get u can have 1 sack else maybe 7 kilos placed on the plastic bags. Along with it are socks, tennis balls, tennis accessories and trophies.

As far as I know there are different levels divided into age group, gender, single, mix or doubles. Of course this event won’t be fulfilled without the food . One of the foods served is”Bulalo” as what we called in tagalog. It’s beef broth with pechay or cabbage, beef chunks or bones and seasoned with ginger and lemon grass and ofcourse the vegemeat for vegetarian.

That’s kuya jun holding the cover of big kaldero as we call here in philippines. That’s where the bulalo were placed.
